An early automobile can be seen parked near a curb in the foreground at left. A cobblestone sidewak borders the road at right. Large Christmas decorations that include a tree, two stars and two flags can be seen lining both sides of the road. Buildings and shops can be seen on both sides of the street as well. Streetlights can be seen hanging on wires over the street. Legible signs include, from left: "Hotel Hollywood", "Merry Christmas Santa Claus Lane Hollywood", and "Bonnie Brie Hotel".
