Photograph of an automobile parked in front of a large rock outcropping on a cliff in Santa Monica's Palisades Park, 1910-1920. The rock formation is at center and is roughly conical in shape. A large variety of plants is growing on the left side of the rock, including palm trees and cactus. A path can be seen along the cliff face at left, and it is bordered by a wooden fence. The dark-colored, early-model car is parked on a road at the base of the cliffs at right and is facing to the right. A sandy beach and the ocean are visible in the distance at right.
