Photograph of a drawing of the First Congregational Church, ca.1875. The simple one story rectangular wooden building has a peaked roof with a square bell tower at the apex. It is situated on a grassy slope with a low stone wall at left and a set of steps, enclosed by a wooden wall along the sidewalk in front, perpendicular to the path to the front door of the church. No other buildings are visible. The church was located on the west side of New High Street, north of Temple Street. See also CHS-351 .
