Description
This is a wide shot of hundreds of U.S. soldiers filling the deck, lifeboats an some of the masts of a large ship on their way to Manila. There are more stereographs of the Spanish-American war than any other war, and this image demonstrates the specificity with which photographers covered the war. Images like this one informed civilian audiences about what was going on in all aspects of the war. Card #32
