Description
A panoramic view of the 1925 Rose Bowl Game between Notre Dame University and Stanford University at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. The image is taken from the open end of the stadium (which was, at that time, horseshoe shaped), facing the field and the stands. The game is in progress at the near end of the field. The stands are almost completely full of spectators. There is a tall speaker system at the near end of the field on the right. Writing in white in the bottom center reads "Pasadena Rose Bowl. ; Notre Dame. 27. ; Jan. 1. 1925. ; Stanford. 10." Writing in white in the bottom right reads "No. 100631 ; Aerograph Co. ; 1763-5 ; W. Vernon Ave ; L.A."
