At their base is a "Sandwich Shop" with a striped awning, while at the summit is a two-story building. A tall staircase runs parallel to the tracks at their right. The edges of commercial buildings can be seen at both the left and right edges of the image. Three pedestrians stand on the paved sidewalk in front of the sandwich shop, behind the street and streetcar tracks that cross the foreground.
