Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission Inn Hotel (aka Mendelson Hotel) at San Juan Capistrano, [s.d.] The two-story clapboard-sided building of the inn is pictured at center along a dirt road with other buildings. One door and several windows can be seen past the porch on the first floor, while multiple doors spaced at regular intervals can be seen past the second-floor balcony. A sign advertising "Rooms" stands along the edge of the roof. Farther left, another wing stands attached to the inn with a curved roof and a sign that reads "Mission Inn Hotel". A utility pole stands in front. Plant foliage can be seen in the lower right foreground. The building was partly constructed in 1860.
