Pioneer Blvd. is vertically at right; Alondra Blvd. is horizontally at lower middle (in front of the school); Barnwall St. is horizontally at upper middle; Excelsior Drive is horizontally at top, with Gerdes Park just behind it; and Maidstone Ave. is diagonally from middle left to top center (left of football field). Excelsior Union High School cornerstone was laid 1923. Photograph dated April 12, 1960.
