Description
Two women in London fashionable dress. The woman on the left wears a light blue, yellow-brimmed bonnet, tied with a light blue ribbon; a pink rose is pinned in her hair. She wears a light blue cloak wrapped around her shoulders and long yellow gloves. Her white floor length dress has two yellow ribbons crossed over her bodice and a wide yellow stripe along the bottom. In her left hand she carries a yellow parasol, with a ruffle or fringe around the edge. The woman on the right wears a white headband and a lace veil with tassels on the ends. She wears a blue dress of draped and gathered fabric with a short train. Her sleeves are gathered with white ribbons and a white button. She wears white flat shoes. Her left hand is around her back, holding her dress. In her right hand she holds both a yellow shawl with a tassel on the corner, and a white fan.
