Description
Program of a concert given by Lucy Shelton, soprano, and Karl Kohn, composer-pianist, on the occasion of the 38th annual Rare Books and Manuscripts preconference held in Claremont, California in June 1997. The concert was held in Balch Auditorium with music inspired by the Madame Ernestine Schumann-Heink collection at Honnold Library. Program includes brief biographical information on Shelton and Kohn and a program insert explaining the connection between Shelton and Schumann-Heink.
