Description
This circa 1958 sketch provides a view of the future Highlands High School, designed by the firm of Starks, Jozens and Nacht. The sketch offers a black-and-white look at the surrounding area before it was developed. Located at Don Julio Boulevard and Guthrie Way, the North Highlands school opened in September 1958 as part of the Grant Unified School District. It was constructed for $1.7 million.
