Broad street with low 2 story buildings on both sides; 2 story building on the right is identified as "Hardward" by a vertical sign; on left side is a sign for "Norge Stout"; street car tracks lead into photo.
Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
"Bldg - right- erected about 1924." Businesses include: Hardware4, Coffe Shop.
