Description
"In the early years of Fair Oaks, promotional pamphlets, such as this 1900 brochure, were produced by both the Howard-Wilson Company of Chicago and the Fair Oaks Development Compnay. The pamphlets were designed to attract Easterners to the 'promised land' of Fair Oaks, in the 'Heart of California." Digital scans of ephema collected for the book "Fair Oaks," published by Arcadia Publishing as part of the "Images of America" series. See page 10 of book.
