Description
Family portrait of the Cassidy Family.
"December 3, 1968: Perusing Ba's collection of pictures-not easy- and many things to do- but just for my satisfaction and a loving tribute to this fine family. I'm pausing to present them. Mr. and Mrs. Flelix Cassidy- a butcher in Port Wine. Oh the good liver (especially my memory) et al. I've told how our limited entertainment was to be on hand when they slaughtered- someone of the crew gang got the bladder. When blown up- 'toy baloon' and fun. While Mr. C had the butcher shop-family mother and daughter ran a hotel. Excellent- $.25 meals. When Moses was away May clased up shop at night and we stayed with them. Back row from left: Jane, Annie, Kate, and Susie (not pictured). Left front- Mrs Mary Kenney and right Mrs. Rose Conliin, a sister (nun). A devoted and nice family."
