Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated March 21, 1950 partially reads, "Twice as large and more than twice as attractive is this new Clark's store front at 5231-33 Lankershim Blvd. After more than a month of remodeling and expansion, this well-known firm reopened last Friday. For the past several years, Clark's occupied the south half of their present location and conducted a family shoe store. The expansion program involved leasing the store next door and incorporating the two, and rebuilding of a completely new and modern front covering the two stores. The additional space is occupied by a complete men's shop."
