Part 1 f a possible rough draft edition of book entitled, "Terminal Island: An Island in Time: Collection of Personal Histories of Former Islanders 1994-1995." Included are: Frank Koo Endo's memoir; George and Ben Fukuzaki's biography; Charlie O. Hamasaki's oral history transcript; Min Hara's memoir; Fusaye Hashimoto's possible transcribed testimony; Mary Hirashima's pre-edited oral history transcription; Yoshio Iwamae's memoir; Kuichi Izumi 's biographical oral history transcription narrated by son, Toshiro Izumi; Toshiro Izumi's memoir; Tadao and Toshiye Kobata's oral history transcription; Yurao Kobata's oral history transcription; Frank and Mitsuyo Manaka's oral history transcription; Tomitaro Marumoto's oral history transcription; John Marumoto's memoir; and George Mio's oral history transcription. The Terminal Island Personal Histories Collection features one transcribed oral history, one autobiography, and a possible rough draft edition of a book entitled, "Terminal Island: An Island in Time, Collection of Personal Histories of Former Islanders 1994-1995," which compiles 34 more transcribed oral histories, biographies, and autobiographies of the Japanese American residents who lived on Terminal Island before being forcibly removed in the wake of the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
