Title supplied by cataloger. Originally occupied by Nutone Fabricators, Inc., the Coffman warehouse was purchased by Pacific Mutual Life Insurance in May 1955 for $175,000. Later that year J.H. Coffman & Son took over the building after an addition was built. Excel Logistics purchased the warehouse in 1992, and as of June 2010, the building is occupied by Superior Studio Specialties. Aerial view of a warehouse district located off of Yates Avenue (center) and E. Washington Boulevard (background) on the former Vail Field. One company, manufacturer and distributor J.H. Coffman & Son, is located at 2239 S. Yates Avenue, where a truck is seen at one of the loading docks. Tracks for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad run behind the Coffman building, and other warehouses are seen on the left. Photograph dated August 5, 1955.
