Description
Case Study House #25, also known as the Edward Frank house, was built in the Naples area of Long Beach, Calif., and sited on a narrow lot, facing a canal. The main entrance to the house is on the canal side and enters into an enclosed, two story courtyard, with all of the rooms facing the courtyard have glass walls. This gives the rooms in the narrow house a feeling of expansiveness, due to the glass walls and filtered sunlight from the courtyard., but on the narrow city lot, this design also provides needed privacy.
