Description
This is a photograph of "some of the neighbor's children at Jungyun [now Rongxian]" when they came to visit Fr. Schulz.
Born in New York, Fr. Schulz came to Maryknoll in 1921 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1928. He continued his studies after ordination securing his J.C.L. Degree. In 1933 he was assigned to Wuchow, China but was called back in 1939 to resume directing Maryknoll activities in Chincinnati Ohio. He was later assigned to Chile and served in many posts throughout the United States. Fr. Schulz met a sudden death in an auto accident in Louisiana.
