Description
Photograph of Easter's fig ranch, South Vermont Avenue and 186th Street, March 20, 1931. Rows of fig trees stand across the dry soil and continue back to a house on the left. The trees are short and their thick branches have been severed at their tips. They are skeletal with very few leaves on their branches and barely cast shadows on the uneven ground. Tall, dark trees stand in a cluster in the background on the far left with the large, wooden house just next to them and a second cluster of trees on the right.
