Photograph of a farm tractor being used to operate a water pump at Manzanar incarceration camp. Several administrative buildings can be seen in the background with additional machinery and a farm truck. The collection was donated by Ralph "Pete" Merritt, Jr. and Patricia Merritt. It is comprised of photographs from an album created by L. Josephine Hawes, the Chief Nurse at the Manzanar Hospital, and individual photographs collected by Ralph P. Merritt, the Project Director of the Manzanar War Relocation Center.
