Photograph article dated March 16, 1959 partially reads, "Charles J. McCarthy will speak on 'Personalities of the People of Early California' at the next regular meeting of the San Fernando Valley Historical Society to be held at Campo de Cahuenga, 3919 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, March 26, starting with a pot luck supper at 6:30 and a program at 8 p.m. McCarthy is a native son and a resident of Tujunga, where he has owned and operated the McCarthy Furniture Store since 1947."
