Description
This 1943 postcard shows the southwestern edge of the United States Post Office and Federal Building at 801 I Street. Officialy opened in November 1933, the new location took over for all Federal activities at the previous building at Seventh and K Streets, the sole exception being operations of the Internal Revenue Service.
