Photograph of ranch-style homes on an unidentified hill in Los Angeles, ca.1950-1959. The homes are shown from a birdseye vantage. Several of them are distributed along the edge of the hill, while at center they are more concentrated. Each house is connected to the others by dirt paths. Below at left, the hill is terraced, and leads down to the wider city.
