Photograph caption dated December 5, 1949 reads "Mrs. Nellie Gentry happily looks at sign which tells the world that friends and neighbors gave her 'Rosemary's Cottage,' named for her invalid daughter. Mother and child live on Ralston Ave., Pacoima." The article partially reads "Bright and gleaming, a new house stands today at 10116 Ralston Ave., Pacoima, put there by the generosity and feeling of fellowship of neighbors and friends for Mrs. Nellie Gentry and her bed-ridden daughter, Rosemary."
