Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated October 17, 1960 partially reads, "The race for Congress in the 22nd District is generating a good deal of light and little heat. The two candidates, Republican C. Lemoine Blanchard and Democrat James C. Corman, have set themselves a campaign pace of four and five appearances a day, seven days a week. They discuss issues in detail, answer every question, cover fields from narcotics control to Middle East policy. But each of the men is too quiet-spoken by nature for florid attacks on the opposition. As fellow churchmen in North Hollywood and members of the same fraternal order, neither intends to question the character or ability of the other." Note: Pictured is James C. Corman.
