Photograph caption dated April 12, 1988 reads, "Playful Pee-wee Herman wouldn't say who his date was except she's in his new movie." Paul Reubens, aka Pee-Wee Herman, is escorted by Valeria Golino, who played Gina Piccolapupula in "Big Top Pee-Wee." Reubens presented the Best Short Film, Live Action award at the 60th Academy Awards on April 11, 1988 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
