Description
Michael Chabon discusses his novel, “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.” He shares the plot of the book, which follows the lives of the title characters, Joe Kavalier and Sam Clay. Kavalier, an artist, and Clay, a writer, join together to create the comic book superhero, the Escapist. Chabon explains how the novel deals not only with the subject of comic books and their creators, but also larger issues of love and war, dreams and art, longing and hope.
