Photo--black and white: Stores on Main Street Sebastopol circa 1880s. Stores in two-story brick building include Pierce the Painter, Crayne's New York Store and Central Meat Market proprietor S. A. Meeker, Jr. Four men are in front of each store and a wagon is seen to the right. Four chimneys are visible. These stores were in the current (2009) location of the Sonoma County Repertory Theater and formerly Pease Drugs.
