Description
Article by Charles Handy on the death of his father and its impact on Handy's perception of his career and forthcoming legacy. Handy begins the article describing the period of his father's death as it related to his life at the time, and how the presence of so many people in attendance at his father's funeral inspired him to consider the impact his own life would have on others. Due to this reflection, Handy explains that he resigned his professorship at the London Business School, deciding that he wanted to make more of an impact in other people's lives more directly.
