Photograph caption dated May 21, 1958 reads, "Albert E. Campbell has warm embrace for Shiner, his dalmatian [sic] dog, who refused food for three weeks when Campbell left him in Nebraska and came to Canoga Park. All was forgiven after Campbell had dog flown to California."
