Description
"This is Betty's [Drummond] friends, Duke Kahanamoku and actor Buster Crabbe. Duke and Buster were both professional swimmers." [Editor's note: Duke Kahanamoku, known as "The Big Kahuna," is also credited with popularizing the sport of surfing. The Dukes restaurant in Malibu is named after him. Buster Crabbe was best known for his portrayal of Tarzan, Buck Rodgers, and Flash Gordon in the 1930s].
