Photograph of North Figueroa, showing center of the street extending into the background, November 1942. At center, a double line can be seen running along the center of the paved road into the extreme background. Two separate lanes running in each direction can be seen on either side of the double lines. In the lane at left, the words "Slow Signal Ahead" has been painted on the road. At center, an automobile can be seen. Additional automobiles are visible in the background and along the curb at right. To the far left, a line of buildings are visible. In the extreme background, rows of palm trees can be seen on either side of the street. Previous version of record states: "5237 N. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, Gift: Foster & Kleiser, 11/78".
