Photograph of a color view of Ayres' Butte in the Grand Canyon in Arizona, 1900-1940. A tall plateau can be seen at right which slopes down at center to form a peak at left. Eroded canyon walls, plateaus, and peaks are visible throughout and into the background. Green trees can be seen in the foreground on the sides of the slopes, while the rock can be seen in shades of red, brown, and tan.
