Photograph caption dated October 13, 1964 reads, "Head custodian Ed Lasher picks up books that were thrown onto floor by vandals at Beachy Avenue Elementary School over the weekend. In background Mrs. Don Miley and Mrs. Don Greeley, active PTA members, help Lasher clean up the mess." Beachy Avenue Elementary School is located in the community of Arleta, in the San Fernando Valley region.
