Description
Photograph caption dated December 26, 1962 reads, "Dick Scott, 12618 Oxnard St., North Hollywood, demonstrates his technique for making a snowman - California-style. First, get 750 pounds of crushed ice. Then find a cool spot to mold it together. A few hours later, a snowman. The snowman is - or rather was - sitting in front of 4344 Tujunga, Scott's hardware store."
