Photograph caption reads, "Reporter examines letters 'KKK' and a cross inscribed with shoe polish, on the sidewalk in front of a four-family apartment house at 2633 Ridgley drive. Authorities feared a new flareup of racial intimidation. The home of a Negro school teacher in the vicinity was recently bombed." Photograph dated April 1, 1952.
