Fashionable carriage & evening dresses for September, 1827.; The woman on the left is wearing a peach colored dress with ruffles at the bottom and with a yellow and green ceinture (sash around her waist). She is wearing white gloves, a necklace, and earrings. Her hair is decorated with a pompon of ribbon. She is holding a white handkerchief in her right hand. The woman on the right is wearing a blue dress with a white bodice, ruffles at the bottom, and with a pink ceinture (sash around waist). She is wearing beige gloves and a white hat decorated with pink bows and feathers. She is wearing a green reticule.
