Description
A letter from Eileen Chang to C.T. Hsia, 1974. In this letter dated May 17, Eileen Chang has published her essay "Tan Kan Shu" in Zhongguo Shi Bao. She also discusses the works of American writer Henry James with Hsia. Song Qi said that Chinese University of Hong Kong may ask Zhang to write a research paper about Ding Ling. Zhang also ask Xia to look for the Ding Ling's early works at Columbia University Library. The envelope has USPS 13 cents-airmail stamp with dated stamp of 19 May 1974 U.S. Postal Service, CA is addressed to "Professor C.T. Hsia, 415 West 115th St., Apt. 22, New York, N.Y. 10025" from address "Chang, 1825 N. Kingsley Dr., Apt. 305, Hollywood, CA 90027."
張愛玲寄給夏志清的信, 1974. 這封信註名5月17日寫的. 張愛玲於中國時報刊出散文"談看書". 也與夏志清討論美國作家Henry James的作品. 另外宋奇說香港中文大學也許請張愛玲寫篇丁玲小說研究的文章. 張請夏在哥大圖書館找丁玲早期的文章. 信封上有一個十三分錢的空運郵票, 郵政戳印日期為1974年5月19日加州, 並有收件人地址"Professor C.T. Hsia, 415 West 115th St., Apt. 22, New York, N.Y. 10025" 及寄件人地址"Chang, 1825 N. Kingsley Dr., Apt. 305, Hollywood, CA 90027."
