Description
The photo caption in the Sacramento Bee, Feb. 15, 1962, states: "Water 3 feet deep today poured over the River Road, State Route 16, between Woodland and Sacramento where it passes through the Yolo Bypass. The water entered the bypass to the north through the Fremont Weir. Traffic was detoured over the Yolo Causeway. The Sacramento Northern Railway trestle is in the foreground. The road last was closed by water in 1960."
