Stores include Desmonds, 5514 Wilshire, Silverwoods, 5522 Wilshire, Oscar Balzer, Ye Betty Alden Shoppe, and Marks with 8-story office tower between Desmonds and Silverwoods. Gilbert Stanley Underwood, architect. Mott number 157 refers to stock photos; number 232 refers to Weber Showcase & Fixture Co.; number 237 refers to Standard Furniture Co.; number 265 refers to Vernon Fixture & Cabinet Co.; number 1084 refers to Federated Metals; and number 603 refers to Desmonds.
