Nationalist/Republican mural, Bogside, Derry, 1989. Mural refers to debate over naming of the city of Londonderry (the Unionist name) as Derry (the Nationalist name - Doire is the name in Gaelic); the local council re-named the city Derry in 1984 and it has been the subject of contention since.
