Description
Exterior view of A. Levy store. Pioneer merchant Achille Levy, a native of France, first visited the Oxnard area in 1874. Later, he operated this store in nearby Hueneme. Still later, he sold it to open the Bank of A. Levy in Oxnard. The bank today is one of the city's leading financial institutions. Photo dated: March 3, 1961.
