Description: Hotel Jeffery, 269 Main Street, Salinas, California. Left to right: Judge James A. Jeffery (a Munincipal Judge); William Jeffery, Sr. (born in 1879) and Charles W. Jeffery. Photo was probably taken in February of 1966 when the hotel closed for the last time. Mr. Jeffery Sr. was too old to run the business and neither son wished to take over managment.
