Photograph article dated February 14, 1963 partially reads, "The gay carnival atmosphere of New Orleans will prevail at the Mardi Gras Ball Saturday when members and guests of La Cadena Women's Club gather for dinner and dancing. The event will be held at the Glen Aire Country Club, beginning at 7:30 p.m., with the club president, Elsie Harmon, reigning as Queen of the Mardi Gras and her escort, Robert Schaefer, as Rex." Note: Pictured are Eva Germaine, left, and Mrs. Ralph Sanders, both of Burbank.
