Description
This view looking south from the 100 block on North First street in San Jose shows a section of the business district. From the left are the Knights of Columbus building, Commercial Building, Bank of San Jose and the towering Bank of Italy. The street is crowded with several pedestrians on the sidewalk and cars parked on either side of the street. The block has multilevel buildings and streetcar tracks. The businesses on the street include clothing on credit, real estate, a coffee shop and Herold's Shoe Store.
