Singer Irene Cara with the help of 44 young dancers performs " Flashdance... What a Feeling," at the 56th Academy Awards held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on April 9, 1984. Giorgio Moroder , Keith Forsey and Cara won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, which was a hit from the film "Flashdance."
