Description
Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph caption dated May 8, 1940 reads, "Despite her 'disguise' of simple, unglamorous clothes and no makeup, Mrs. Eileen Evelyn G. Snelson was recognized as Greer Garson, movie star, when she won a divorce here today from Edward A. A. Snelson, British civil service official now in India. She is shown ... as she came to court ... She exhibited plenty of glamor in 'Good-by Mr. Chips [sic].'"
