Photograph of a railroad track on east side of the Salton Sea, showing a trestle in the distance, ca.1910. The tracks are shown at center, skirted by a short plank fence at left. Below the tracks, a mound of gravel that had to be hauled-in during construction can be seen, supporting them. Utility poles and a road running perpendicular can be seen in the distance.
