B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., writes Mr. K. Hopper saying that he is replying to Hopper's letter of June 11th. He responds to one of Hopper's questions by saying that Japanese human relations have not changed substantially since he first experienced it in the factory 50 years ago. He shares the difference between the relationship of the foreman to his employees before and after the war. He talks about a human relations in management brochure by A.T.T. and the impression he obtained by attending a CCS (Civil Communications Section) seminar. He also replies to Hopper's July 3rd letter and discusses the number of lectures he made on topics such as: the CCS, QC, industrial engineering, managing engineering, current Japanese management, and the Taylor system. He closes by wishing Claire Hopper success with her introduction of QC circles. The letter contains Inoue's signature. The letter also contains an original handwritten "16" on the top, right corner of page 1 and an original handwritten computation. In addition, the letter contains markings.
